High technology, high brand and the excellent shows!!! (Journal 5)

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

Form this class all of activities today were very interesting. There were two activities in this class.

First it is about the brand of Apple. Have you ever know about Apple? It is surprisingly that the teacher has shown their own apple products include IPOD and Mac book. There are all made from high technology and new innovative.

I used to know about the Apple company:  is an American multinational corporation that designs and markets consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computer. There are many product lines in this company include MAC, iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes and so on. Apple was established by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. As you can see now the market of this product had grown faster than another company. And here is the examples information that I would like to show you. Is it interesting?

Second it is about the show form many groups in my class, there are about business. From my group, we have shown about “Subtar Talent.”
There are two people that they want to audition with my company and they preferred they want to be a model and a singer. So we have committees that they would like to comment these two person auditions. It was many jokes and it is very fun because of my group. All groups that have shown today were very interesting and fun. We have fun together. And my teacher too I think. Some group made us more understanding in their brand positioning.

For those activities, everyone was fun and happy.

What do you wear? VS What do you think you wear? (Journal 4)

What do you wear?
VS
What do you think you wear?

I would like to ask you first, what do you think for those two questions? Are the same meaning?

Form this week we have to think about these two questions. In my opinion, the answer surely is No. it is about the concrete and abstract.

The answer of the first question is concrete and the answer of the second question is abstract. Why I said like this? If you think about it carefully, you will know what they referred to.

Form the first question, the answer is referred to the concrete thing that we have wear in several days such as shoes, skirts, t-shirts etc but the answer of the second question is referred to the abstract thinking. For example: if you buy jeans, what are the advantages or benefit from these jeans? And what do you think about these jeans? such as comfort, flexible, trendy, smart, modern etc.

Here are two question that you have to think when you have bought something and all of company have to think about their customers about it and make it in their own brand positioning.

Wants/Needs/Desires (Journal 3)

A luxury car, a big house, new trends of fashion: what else does human need to be happy?

The group of customers or consumers who will probably buy the product is known as the target market. I used to think how make they buy their products. And I know there are many factors that consumers use to decide to buy goods or products and the company attempts to match consumer needs or mold consumer desires to the product offered.

I would like to ask you first: what do you think about these words:Wants/Needs/Desires
Do you think they are the same meaning? The answer surely is No and Why?
Because if you think about the meaning of these three words, you will feel it has three states of feeling begin with Wants→Needs→Desires. Think about it.
From this week, there was something that I was interest in is about Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
There were four levels:

Basic needs: For the most part, physiological needs are obvious — they are the literal requirements for human survival. If these requirements are not met, the human body simply cannot continue to function.
Safety: With their physical needs relatively satisfied, the individual's safety needs take precedence and dominate behavior.
Belonging: After physiological and safety needs are fulfilled, the third layer of human needs is social and involves feelings of belongingness.
Ego-status: All humans have a need to be respected and to have self-esteem and self-respect.
Self-actualization: “What a man can be, he must be.” This forms the basis of the perceived need for self-actualization. This level of need pertains to what a person's full potential is and realizing that potential.

In my opinion, here it is the important theory that all consumers have to think before they buy something.
